Rob Hancock, Shea Hancock TSCPA 2017 Conference

Rob Hancock and Shea Hancock are key speakers at the TSCPA 2017 Conference, located at the Houston Airport Marriott Hotel.

Their first session, with George Connelly, Jr. (Chamberlain Hrdlicka), begins at 9 AM on November 3rd, which will cover subjective areas of business valuation pertinent to valuations inside and outside of litigation. Topics will include I) quantification models for discounts for lack of control and marketability, Ii) the business valuator’s consideration of the correlation, or lack thereof, of subsequent events and hindsight evidence, iii) the potential problems with business valuators’ use of IPSE DIXIT, iv) an experienced attorney’s perspective on the importance and relevance of business valuation reports in IRS examinations and in the United States Tax Courts, and v) other non-routine valuation topics.

Shea Hancock alongside William Stewart (William Stewart/Stewart & Hurst, LLC), Laurie-Leigh White (The BVA Group) and Habeeb Gnaim (Chamberlain Hrdlicka), will present at 2:45 PM on Valuation of Debt Securities, Preferred Stock, Stock Options and Other Valuation Services Areas. This session will cover the “nuts and bolts” of how to accomplish credible valuations of debt instruments; Preferred stock and related issues; Restricted stock considerations; Stock options and other share-based compensations; Items to consider to maximize shareholder value.
